Time to get this Show on the Road

We LOVE small-scale agriculture, heritage foods, and local community life. We have witnessed and experienced so many amazing things in our neighborhoods, talked to interesting people, and been inspired by their work. So much so, that we decided we should share these stories and ideas.

So what is a “sovereign seed,” and why does it matter? These are powerful words that represent an idea. An idea is not a commodity that can be bought or sold- it is sovereign. Like a seed, an idea must be nurtured, given diverse inputs, and cared for until it can blossom into something beneficial for the world. Sounds fancy right? Sure, but not everything meaningful in life has to be deathly serious. Basically, we believe in the good of many small deeds, daily actions, and dedicated efforts. So, let’s look at daily life through a different lens, and maybe even spice it up with a little bit of wonder.

We hope these stories and posts inspire you with new ideas and perspectives. After all, the world always needs more generosity and more unity in the things we all have in common rather than division over our differences. Living local, growing food, and eating meals seems like a pretty good place to start!

These thoughts and stories begin in South Korea. Let’s get this show on the road and see what we can cultivate together.
